If your pre-nomination fulfills all the requirements, you and the pre-nominee will next receive an email notifying and requesting confirmation in order to move forward
After confirmation, we will officially post the pre-nominee information on the website under the Vote Now section:
In order to be selected as official nominee, specific criteria will be considered per category and public voting will be held through the Inspirational Latin Awards Website.

Waldo Briño- Love My community
Waldo Briño is an award to recognize people who work to support the Latin American community and make an impact in his/her own community.

Non-Latino making an impact
An altruistic member of the society donating generously to the growth of the Latin American community. Nominees must be outstanding members of the community who are non-Latino and a resident of British Columbia who have at a minimum of 10 plus years of service to the community.

Online influencer
An individual influencing and inspiring in Social Media. They have committed a large amount of their time showcasing their passions, developing a brand and giving a hint of their Latin American ties in the many existent social networks.
We kindly ask you to consider the following criteria before nominating:
- The online influencer should have over 10,000 followers on either Instagram, Facebook and/or TikTok.
- Their main content should be information for Latin Americans that are living in Vancouver (places to get help, general information about the city,) and/or content related to support the local community
Recognition
Award winners will be acknowledged in the Inspirational Latin Awards evening gala at the Vancouver Playhouse theater on April 15th, 2023.
The 5 finalists of each category will received an special recognition through a video in the Inspirational Latin Awards ceremony at the Vancouver Playhouse theater

No, there is no fee associated with submitting a nomination for an award or receiving one.
Yes, as long as each nomination satisfies the qualifying criteria for that category.
Not for now, the participant must be a resident of British Columbia (BC) in order to be eligible to participate in the awards ceremony.
No, self-nomination is permitted; both methods of nomination are acceptable and have no impact on how the judges decide to vote.
No, winners will be announced at the Inspirational Latin Awards Ceremony on Saturday, April 15th, 2023.
